Gravity Separator
Description:
The Indosaw Gravity Separator is a crucial machine used to separate seeds or grains of the same size but with differences in density or weight. This machine plays a vital role in most seed processing plants, as it separates cleaned seeds—processed through Pre-Cleaner and Fine Cleaner machines—based on their density or weight.
A fluidized bed of seeds or grains forms on the perforated deck, where air blowing from the bottom through air blowers helps separate the seeds or grains into three main grades: light, medium, and bold.
There are five main adjustments in the Gravity Separator machine: feed rate, air volume, end angle of the deck, side angle of the deck, and deck oscillation. These five adjustments must be properly set together to achieve precise separation based on weight.
The deck’s vibration is controlled by a variable frequency AC drive with an AC motor, ensuring accurate separation of heavy seeds from light seeds.
Indosaw Gravity Separator comes with several advanced features, including independent fan units with individual air control, a lightweight perforated deck made of wood, stainless steel, or aluminum frame, CNC-fabricated construction, and a design that ensures low noise, durability, and sturdy performance.
